The Tech RA (with the "A" signifying advanced) is the newest competition tire from AVON. These tires were specifically designed for competition couples, sedans, and sports cars. They are made for participation in autocross, and road and track racing. Only in dry conditions though, as their tread is designed specifically for racing and has very poor hydroplaning resistance.
The outside features a racing tread that is very responsive with two circumferential grooves. This increases contact with the road giving you much better traction.
Many customers said that they expected a lot more from this tire and were unimpressed buy them. But for the price they are a pretty good purchase.
